Fence panel installation

Timber fence panel installation with trellis topping on a garden boundary

Timber fence panel installation with trellis topping on a garden boundary

We replaced a failed garden fence panel on a side-return boundary. The old boarding was removed from the posts, leaving the existing trellis topping and neighbouring fence in place, then a new vertical-slat timber panel was fitted tight to the brick wall.

The new cedar-toned boards restore privacy from the public path, line up with the remaining fence and sit cleanly under the lattice trellis. Gravel at the base was dressed back after installation.

Fence panel installation is everyday landscaping work done properly: accurate fitting, matching materials and a tidy finish that extends the life of the whole boundary without replacing posts that are still sound.
